Dr. Harrison Pope, MD, MPH, is a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and is widely regarded as the world’s leading authority on the long-term effects of Anabolic-Androgenic Steroids (AAS). With over 300 peer-reviewed publications and decades of clinical experience at McLean Hospital, Dr. Pope’s research has defined our understanding of the "Adonis Complex," steroid-induced cardiomyopathy, and the neurotoxic impact of supraphysiologic hormone levels on the human brain.
